Stan’s Choice Limited aims to be carbon neutral in its own operations by 2035 and Net Zero across its whole footprint by 2050.

Baseline year emissions: The company was incorporated in April 2022. We selected 2022/23 as our base year. The methodology for measuring our carbon footprint is in line with the Greenhouse Gas protocol and the BEIS Environmental Reporting Guidelines. The calculations were completed on the Carbon Trust SME Carbon Footprint Calculator

Emissions reduction targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets.
Use of electric vehicles
Use video conferencing to reduce business travel
Aim to use 100% renewable energy
We project that carbon emissions will initially increase over the next five years when the company commences to manufacture and sale products.
We will source manufacturing facility to ensure carbon net zero policy is carbon zero by 2050
A plan will then put in place to reduce the carbon footprint to achieve be carbon zero by 2050.
Carbon Reduction Projects
Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
The company was incorporated in April 2022. The company is committed to minimise and reduce Its carbon footprint.
Since incorporation the company has used video conferencing extensively to avoid incurring business milage wherever possible. Our products when manufactured will be ambient storable. This will save energy used for freezer storage of frozen ready meals.
In the future we hope to implement further measures such as:
- Use of renewable energy sources.
- Requiring suppliers to report their carbon footprint data to us to improve the accuracy of carbon measurement and engaging with suppliers to support our net zero goal.
- All suppliers to have produced their own net zero target and plan (by 2050 latest) that align with the target of Stan’s Choice Ltd,
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard[1] and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting[2].
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard[3].
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors.
